Transport / Ranan Workshop

While Indian based Dance/Theatre company Ranan, were visiting the UK to work with Folkestone-based Transport Theatre they held a joint one-day workshop for actors and dancers hosted by PANeK and UKC.
The workshop looked at processes of collaboration between live performance makers from different forms and cultural backgrounds. Participants were taken through Lecoq and Khatak based exercises and asked to explore the meeting points between the two vocabularies by devising small fragments around the theme of migration.
The workshop was led by Transport artistic director and Complicite associate Douglas Rintoul and Ranan artistic director Vikram Iyengar.
