WELCOME TO PANEK NEWSLETTER 15: SEPTEMBER 2008

Don't forget the next PANeK networking event is tomorrow, Thursday 25th September, at 5.30pm at Orange Street Music Club in Canterbury (www.orangestreetmusic.com).  Please join us for a short presentation from Brighton-based company, The Two Wrongies, on growing your company and then a chance to share news.

Those people who pre-booked will also have a free ticket to see Dallas Sweetman, the new play specially commissioned by Canterbury Cathedral and Canterbury Festival with Paines Plough, at the Cathedral.  Written by Sebastian Barry and directed by Roxana Silbert, this is a major theatrical event.  The play starts at 7.30pm so we will be leaving Orange Street soon after 7pm to make sure we get good seats!

If you did not ask for a ticket, you may still be able to get seats and there are a number of interesting "behind the scenes" events associated with performances - see www.canterburyfestival.co.uk for full details.

The next "must see" event in Kent is this Friday 26th September, 8.15pm - a free fire show of epic proportions specially made for Dover by Kent's own spectacular The World Famous.  The event marks the launch of the Cultural Olympiad (which offers some exciting opportunities over the next four years) and includes a whole range of sights and attractions over the weekend to "Open Up" Kent for local people and visitors,  See www.kentsport.org/london2012/latest.asp#light_up and
www.london2012.com/get-involved/cultural-olympiad/open-weekend.php for more details.
