PANeK (Performing Arts Network Kent) supports the making of theatre and live performance in Kent.

PANeK was established in 2005 by the arts officers of local authorities in East Kent to support work in East Kent. Kent County Council has now provided additional funding to enable the network to cover the whole of Kent.

PANeK’s services include:

• A regular enewsletter for performers and practitioners with information about funding, professional development opportunities, events and other news.
  
• A Go And See fund. Performing arts practitioners who live and work in Kent may apply to the fund for the costs associated with attending events, conferences or training which will further their professional development. Recipients are expected to provide a short report on the event they attend. Please see Reports section. Please contact cathy@panek.org.uk for more details on how to apply.
• Networking opportunities. As well as the enewsletter and website, PANeK organises visits, meetings and masterclasses. News of latest events is contained in the enewsletter.
• Mentoring and advice. PANeK can provide advice on a variety of issues for performing arts practitioners, including establishing a company, fundraising and publicity. PANeK can put you in touch with other arts organisations and individuals in Kent and beyond who can give specialist support and advice. PANeK can be flexible about your needs and can broker and support mentoring relationships between individuals. Please contact cathy@panek.org.uk for more details.
